Hop Along, Little Bunny

[Intro]

Wake up, little bunny, morning’s on its way!

Wiggle both your ears and come and play!

[Verse 1]

Little bunny wakes up bright,

Stretching in the morning light.

“Good morning, sun!” he says with cheer,

A brand-new happy day is here!

He washes up and finds his shoes,

Then picks a path he’d like to choose.

A little hop, a little spin,

The day of fun is sure to begin!

[Chorus]

Hop, hop, bunny, hop along,

Skip through the day with a happy song!

Clap your hands and tap your toes,

Follow where the bunny goes!

Hop, hop, left and right,

Bouncy feet and hearts so light!

Wave hello and shout, “Hooray!”

Bunny’s having a happy day!

[Verse 2]

Hop, hop, hop across the lane,

Dancing softly after rain.

Little birds begin to sing,

“Hello, bunny! Spring is springing!”

Bunny finds a yellow flower,

Smelling sweet beside the tower.

He sees a butterfly fly by,

Flapping wings across the sky.

[Chorus]

Hop, hop, bunny, hop along,

Skip through the day with a happy song!

Clap your hands and tap your toes,

Follow where the bunny goes!

Hop, hop, left and right,

Bouncy feet and hearts so light!

Wave hello and shout, “Hooray!”

Bunny’s having a happy day!

[Movement Break]

Hop to the left—one, two, three!

Hop to the right—come dance with me!

Touch your ears, then touch your nose,

Wiggle, wiggle, off he goes!

Clap up high, clap down low,

Turn around and take it slow.

One tiny hop, then two, then three—

Bunny says, “You’re hopping with me!”

[Verse 3]

Then he meets his friend, Blue Bear,

“Come and play, there’s fun everywhere!”

They roll a ball upon the ground,

Laughing as they run around.

Bear tosses softly, Bunny throws,

The ball rolls past a row of rose.

They take turns, then cheer out loud,

“Best play pals!” they say, so proud.

[Chorus]

Hop, hop, bunny, hop along,

Skip through the day with a happy song!

Clap your hands and tap your toes,

Follow where the bunny goes!

Hop, hop, left and right,

Bouncy feet and hearts so light!

Wave hello and shout, “Hooray!”

Bunny’s having a happy day!

[Verse 4]

Clouds float softly way up high,

Little kites go flying by.

Bunny jumps and waves hello,

To the rainbow shining below.

Blue Bear points and counts the hues,

“Red and yellow, green and blue!”

They march together, step by step,

Past the pond and wooden fence.

[Bridge]

When a friend comes out to play,

Little joys can fill the day.

Share the ball and take your turn,

There’s a happy song to learn!

[Verse 5]

When the evening stars appear,

Bunny whispers, “Night is here.”

He snuggles in his cozy bed,

Dreaming of adventures ahead.

Close your eyes and sleep so tight,

Moon is glowing soft and bright.

Tomorrow brings another day,

With more fun and games to play!

[Final Chorus]

Hop, hop, bunny, hop along,

Thank you, friends, for singing along!

Clap your hands and tap your toes,

Now it’s time to rest our nose!

Hop, hop, soft and slow,

Dream of where your feet will go.

Wave goodnight and whisper, “Hooray!”

See you for another happy day!

[Outro]

Goodnight, little bunny, curl up tight,

The moon will watch you through the night.

Tomorrow we’ll laugh and hop and play—

Sweet dreams until the break of day.
