Making a song
- What you give it
- A one-line description (Simple mode), or your own lyrics plus a style (Custom mode). Instrumental is a switch.
- First playable preview
- About 30 seconds after you press Create: lyrics and a stream you can listen to while it finishes.
- Finished song
- Typically 2 to 4 minutes after Create, depending on the song's length.
- Takes per generation
- 2 finished takes every time, on every plan. Pick one or keep both.
- Maximum length
- 5 minutes per song (300 seconds); most songs come out between 2 and 4 minutes.
- Languages
- It sings in the language of your lyrics or description. Lyrics in more than 20 languages come through every month; Language version lists 14 languages for re-singing an existing song.
- Interface languages
- English, 中文, Español, Português, Français, Deutsch, 日本語, हिन्दी.
- If a generation fails
- Nothing is charged: the credit is returned automatically. Briefs that name a real artist and lyrics that match a copyrighted song are declined before generation.

- MP3 and lossless WAV downloads of every song, the Remix suite, saved voices, AI cover art, music video export, commercial-use licence with a certificate for every song in your library.

- Uploading your own audio

- Time-synced .lrc and .srt subtitle files for any song with lyrics.
- Video
- A music video (MP4) for any song (1 credit, Pro and Ultra).
- Certificate
- A commercial-use certificate per song with a licence code in the form TNLY-XXXXXXX-XXXXXXX, printable as PDF.
Rights and privacy
- Free plan songs
- Licensed for personal use.
- Pro and Ultra songs
- Every song in a paid member's library is licensed for commercial use, including songs first made on the free plan, and the certificate stays valid after the plan ends.
- Your uploads
- Audio you upload stays yours; temporary copies are deleted once the generation settles.
- Gallery
- A song made from a general description may be listed in the Discover gallery automatically. Personal and gift songs, and every song made from your own lyrics, stay private. Any song can be made private (or public) from its menu.
- Account
- Change your artist name or sign-in email from the account page; delete the account and all songs from the same page.
Versions of a song (artist workflow)
- Language version
- Re-sings a song you made with adapted lyrics in another language; key, tempo and structure carry over. Saved as a version under the original. 2 credits, two takes.
- Adapting the lyrics
- The version panel writes a singable adaptation into the chosen language for you to edit, or you paste your own.
- Add vocals
- Sung vocals on an instrumental you made in Tunely or uploaded. The backing is re-performed at the same tempo; the vocal stem is available for your own mix. 1 credit.
- Master
- Mark the approved take as the master of a family; versions are made from it and the library keeps them together.

How long does Tunely take to make a song?
A playable preview with lyrics appears about 30 seconds after you press Create, and the finished song lands typically 2 to 4 minutes later, depending on its length.
How many versions do I get per generation?
2, on every plan. Each generation returns two finished takes so you can pick the better one.
What is the maximum song length?
5 minutes. Most songs come out between 2 and 4 minutes; you can ask for a target length in Custom mode.
What file formats can I download?
MP3 on every plan (a one-time $1.99 per song on the free plan), lossless WAV on Pro and Ultra, plus vocal and instrumental stems, .lrc and .srt lyric files, and an MP4 music video on paid plans.
Is there a watermark?
No. Songs, downloads and music-video exports carry no watermark on any plan.
What does the free plan include?
The first song without an account, then 2 generations a day (4 songs) with free listening and sharing. Keeping the MP3 costs $1.99 per song, or is included with Pro.
How much do Pro and Ultra cost?

Can I use my own lyrics?
Yes. Custom mode sings the lyrics you paste, in the language you wrote them in, with section tags such as [Verse] and [Chorus] to shape the song.
Can I use the songs commercially?
On Pro and Ultra, yes: every song in your library is licensed for commercial use with a certificate and licence code, including songs first made on the free plan. Free-plan songs are for personal use.
What happens if a generation fails?
